Gul Gali in Mehnaz
A central panel of small florals placed in orderly vertical rows, framed by borders alive with roses, marigolds, and curling vines. The balance between structure and flourish is the essence of the design: symmetry in the middle, movement at the edges.
The palette is deep and autumnal. Brick red anchors the piece, joined by mustard yellow, forest green, and muted indigo. Lavender touches break the warmth, while the burnt orange border ties everything together with a confident frame. Against the ivory ground, the motifs appear both dense and clear, giving the scarf a strong presence.
On modal, the tones settle into a matte, almost tapestry-like quality, rich, grounded, and full. On chiffon, the same shades become lighter and more diffused: the reds soften, the yellows brighten, and the greens take on a transparent depth, like foliage seen through sunlight.
Gul Gali in Mehnaz carries the strength of earth tones and the intricacy of hand-drawn florals, a piece that feels both traditional and unmistakably alive.
